...In 1984, Dj T-Money's parents brought him his first numark mixer and one turntable with no pitch control, DJ T-Money barrowed another turntable from his god brother and started djing neighborhood parties with his partner Kenny Harper and was able to buy a matching set of Gemini belt drive turntable and a Gemini mixer. In 1986 DJ T-Money was introduced to one of Baltimore’s Dj legends DJ Rod Braxton who gave him pointers on his djing skills. and later met a couple of djs that worked in Metro Music record store in Mondawmin Mall (Legendarydjs Tommy Davis, Sean Marshall, and Marc Henry ) these djs played a key part in introducing him to the art of House Music.
