CRAIG BOYD

(continued from FTB DJ's)

...During the late 80’s he worked as a door man for the British Club BBC in Santa Monica, California. There he was exposed to electronic music other than what you heard on the local radio stations at that time by resident DJ Danny Winters (UK) and began deejaying in 1989. In the spring of that year, he learned how to beat match from DJ Eli Star and started spinning at rave parties soon thereafter. Craig’s reputation in the Los Angeles underground scene spread fast and he became one of Los Angeles’s prominent DJ’s.

In the summer of 1993, he became a resident deejay for Club L.O.G.I.C. at the West End in Santa Monica, California along with DJ Mark Lewis that lasted for years until the club close down. Over the years, Craig has had the opportunity to spin with notable DJs, Tony Humphries, Carl Cox, Victor Simonelli, Dimitri from Amsterdam, Markus Wyatt and Doc Martin to name a few.

Craig Boyd brings the best of the Baltimore, Jersey, New York, and the West Coast Soulful House sounds, and everything in between to the dance floor.  With his strong reputation in the Los Angeles’s Soulful House scenes, he shares his unique style at numerous parties and outdoor events across the United States and abroad in countries like Spain, Australia.
